Solutions Architect (Pre Sales Support & Account Management)
My client develops and supplies a range of innovative communication solutions to organisations of all sizes who use them to improve their operational efficiency, their customer’s experiences and their employees’ morale. This is a UK company listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange since 1996.
The company's solutions are deployed via a fully managed intelligent communications platform either on-site at a customer’s premises or as a hosted "on-demand" service, helping clients minimise resources required and eliminate the need of costly capital expenditure.
The role of Solutions Architect is
• To increase direct sales by provision of effective business, commercial and technical support to the existing Sales Team.
• To increase market penetration by facilitating the development of external sales channels through effective technical and commercial support.
Specifically the role will be responsible for:
- The preparation of clear pricing and positioning strategies for all products and services in UK & abroad
- Pre-sales technical support for company products
- System sizing, costing and presentation of commercial engagement options.
- Support for bids, tenders etc.
- Project management of solution implementation
- Installation support for Technical Team when carrying out on-site activities.
- Management of early-life assessment of products, including representing the company on system review meetings.
- Providing and delivering training to external clients and to internal trainees.
- Engagement with existing and potential channel partners to facilitate volume growth of company products and solutions.
- Feedback for continuous process improvement and product development
- representing the company as world class, agile and sensitive to market needs.
The successful applicant for this role will have an important role in assisting the company achieve budgeted revenue & PBT, deliver milestones, projects, installations, and products to time and budget, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Required Competencies:
Ideally. my client is seeking candidates with
- Good IT and preferably Call Centre/ Telecoms skills
- Excellent pre-sales support experience and the ability to translate customer requirements into company solutions
- Experience of working with FTSE100 organisations in a similar capacity
- Ability to initiate and build on relevant solution design options
- Ability to professionally support multiple customer contract negotiations and installations each in the region of £200k+
- Strong interpersonal skills, persuasive communicator
- Ability to deal with Customers and suppliers
- Technical competence in current and future technologies
- Project Management skills
- IT Applications skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
- Strong personal motivational skills.
